Tom Pappas and Paul Terek headed to the Olympics

July 31, 2004 — Following two grueling days of competition, Tom Pappas and Paul Terek found their names at the top of the scoreboard and a crowd of cheering doctors awaiting them at the end of the track.

“It was an absolutely thrilling experience to be involved in, and to watch Tom and Paul receive the well-earned title of Olympian,” said Scott G. McLeod, D.C. of Shelby Twp. ?We are very proud of all of our Olympians, and are looking forward to the U.S. bringing home many gold medals.?

Dr. McLeod and McLeod Chiropractic are excited to pass along Tom and Paul’s thanks to the community for the financial support it provided. Dr. McLeod was asked to become involved with the World’s Greatest Athletes Decathlon Club (WGACDC) because the athletes were seeking good chiropractic care, and in return, Dr. McLeod asked the community for their financial support for these non-professional athletes. Your generous donations to McLeod Chiropractic were used to fill the needs of the athletes as they trained for the trials.

McLeod Chiropractic is also happy to report that both athletes are in excellent physical condition and continue to receive and benefit from chiropractic care.

Pappas and Terek are continuing to train heavily as they prepare to compete in Athens in August at the 2004 Olympic games, and McLeod Chiropractic will continue to update you on their progress.

Because of the heavy financial demands in August for the 2004 Athens Olympics Dr. McLeod will continue to accept tax-deductible donations to the WGACDC. For more information, please contact McLeod Chiropractic at 586-739-6262 or http//:www.mcleodchiropractic.com
