January 14 2004–Stephanie found NTD Equine Brace in Manteca California.This company was a spin off of an orthopedic leg brace company that closed due to a buy out. These guys had invested 25 plus years in the industry in building custom leg braces for humans and now were applying their technology to helping out equines. The core team
at NTD is made up of three driving forces,Valentin Robles and Troy Rivas lead the way for producing the custom made leg braces for the horses and Tim Niswonger handles operations of Tooling.NTD has developed six types of leg braces for horses to date.

Peanuts knee required an osteo arthritis corrective brace.NTD Built a custom Osteo Arthitis Knee brace with 3 degrees correction in the medial compartment which relived some of the pain nd stablized the condition of the knee. A radiograph of the knee taken 7 months apart proved that the brace worked.And now Peanut can be bred again.
