July 9, 2004 — Kid Chiropractic Family Wellness Center is celebrating with a Patient Appreciation Day, Wednesday, July 21 , 2004 8:30am-4:30pm.

This is a rare opportunity for new patients, their families and friends to receive new patient exams for FREE (a $160 value). Donations will be accepted for The Yurko Project.

We will be having lots of FREE activities, such as, face painting, a yoga workshop, a feng shui workshop, and treats; including Soy Delicious frozen treats! Everyone gets a door prize! There will also be a raffle with great prizes, the proceeds going to the Yurko Project.

Alan and Francine Yurko’s baby boy was killed by a series of events that started with a vaccination from the most deadly batch of DTaP of the 1990’s (according to government records) and ended with hospital overdoses of heparin and bicarbonate. The doctor who administered these overdoses covered up his mistakes by blaming Alan of shaking his son. Not knowing, at the time, what killed his son; Alan Yurko was convicted of murdering his own child in 1999 and sentenced to life plus ten years in prison, without the possibility of parole. He has been in prison since then. Alan Yurko’s case is coming up for appeal August 23, 2004. Approximately $50,000 is needed to cover legal costs.

Yoga helps to unite the body and the mind, reduce stress, create physical and mental stamina, spinal strength and flexibility. No matter what your fitness level, yoga has something to offer you. This class will emphasize poses which increase spinal health, as well as enhance energy. If you have a yoga mat, block(s), & a belt; bring them to class, dress in loose clothing and bring a towel.
