An average of eighty percent of strokes can be prevented. Different ways to prevent a stroke include knowing your blood pressure, a healthy diet, physical activity, lower cholesterol levels, and controlling diabetes. Treatment for stroke is available in a few different ways. A stroke survivor could have surgery, medications, hospital care or rehabilitation.
