Callidus LLC Introduces Aladin, a Medical Software System That Simplifies the Everyday Tasks of Sleep Labs
Delmar, MD August 5, 2004 — Callidus, LLC: Simplifying Technologies in Sleep Labs for the First Time in North America. Isn?t it annoying how so many software programs designed to make our workday easier just don?t work well together? Wouldn?t it be nice to have multiple programs work together seamlessly? Wouldn?t it be nice to have one source for simple, yet powerful business solutions?
Introducing Aladin: the first purpose-built sleep laboratory software management system in the U.S., designed from the ground up for sleep labs by sleep doctors in conjunction with software programmers. It was actually designed and built specifically for sleep labs. Designed by Germany?s LUU Connect Systems, Aladin has been operating in European sleep labs since 1997, and with frequent updates has remained at the forefront of its class. Callidus has just begun offering Aladin in North America from offices on both the East and West coasts.
Aladin offers appointment scheduling, inventory management, and automatic sleep data collection all in one easy-to-use, highly customizable program. The system eliminates the need for multiple entries with its ability to universally update files. It can generate lists based on the criteria of your choice.
Based on the IBM DB2? database, which is known as a reliable database system, Aladin has the ability to be networked into any system. One major benefit this software provides is the import/export function which removes the need to reenter information. It also provides the ability to import all data that the laboratory currently uses and has used in the past.
The DB2 database has the capability of storing any amount of information either locally or on a central server; with its network ability all of its components can be accessed at any computer, with the information updated as it is entered. There is no need to refresh the information to gain accurate data results. The use of passwords regulates which information different users can view, change, or access. From a management standpoint, the administrator has the ability to view all aspects of the laboratory and spot possible bottlenecks to increase efficiency.
Aladin is being offered to you by Callidus, LLC. Callidus, LLC is the U.S. importer for LUU Connect, a software company based in Germany, which has been providing simple, yet powerful solutions to the medical profession since 1990.
