Big Tigger Challenges Celebrities Friends to ?GET TESTED? at the HIV/AIDS Testing Day Program during Big Tigger?s 3rd Annual Celebrity Classic

Washington, DC June 20, 2004 — Big Tigger, host of BET?s Rap City: Tha Bassment and internationally syndicated radio program, ?Live In the Den with Big Tigger?, issued a challenge to all celebrities and athletes to ?Get Tested? at the HIV/AIDS Testing Day Program on Friday, June 25, 2004 from 2-6 pm at the Kennedy Recreation Center (7th & O Streets) in Washington DC. Soul Food star Darrin Dewitt Henson and a host of other celebrities and athletes will join Big Tigger to be tested for HIV/AIDS during a live broadcast.

With the support of the DC Department of Health (DOH) HIV/AIDS Administration (HAA) and BET?s Rap It Up Program, Big Tigger?s 3rd Annual Celebrity Classic will encourage celebrities, athletes and local residents to know their HIV status by conducting free testing services for the community. As additional incentive, participants who are tested in connection with Big Tigger?s 3rd Annual Celebrity Classic will receive a complimentary ticket to the popular celebrity All Star Basketball Game at George Washington University on Saturday, June 26, 2004 (whiles supplies last).

The HIV/AIDS Testing Day Program is one of many events during Big Tigger?s 3rd Annual Celebrity Classic, which annually brings together an all-star line up of celebrities and athletes for a weekend of fun and informative activities designed to both raise funds for and heighten public awareness of HIV/AIDS. This year?s support comes from noted celebrities such as Vivica A. Fox (Kill Bill), Rockmond Dunbar (Soul Food), Michael Ealy (Barbershop 2), Free (BET), Darren Sharper (Packers), Deon Grant (Panthers), Clinton Portis (Redskins), Michael Vick (Falcons), Eddie George (Titans), Keenan McCardell (Buccaneers), Jerry Porter (Raiders), Bobby Taylor (Seahawks) and LaVar Arrington (Redskins).

Other events include Kids Basketball/Football Sports Clinic, silent auction, Industry Panel Discussion for Youth and a host of celebrity parties.
