September 21, 2004 — Hirschsprung?s disease is a rare connatal disease which requires a surgical correction. New techniques will be presented to apply a minimal - invasive access. Other issues will be the diagnostic and therapuetic approach in aganglionosis,genetics of Hirschsprung’s Disease and epidemiology. A large section of the lectures will cover complications, longe term results and outcome. A special part be be dedicated to total aganglionosis and nutritional support. The seminar is under the auspice of EUPSA (European Paediatric Surgeon’s Association), CME from the UEMS and the italian minsery of education are available.

This seminar is dedicated to young paeditric surgeons and residents, as well as to paediatric gastroenterologists, dealing with patients with Hirschsprung’s disease.

The venue will take place at Porto San Rocco, e new habour place near the city of Trieste in Italy at the adriatic cost.
